Yes, he is a great singer and a great songwriter. In the late 60ies he was very creative and a lot of singers covered his songs, for example Peter, Paul& Mary.

Thats very good! So, you have 2 channels (or otherwise someone must have stolen your guitar!) Have a look at alonzogarbanzo, he's one of the best here. After a couple of views I started to hear his version instead of Paxton's in my head, afterwards.

Tom Paxton seems to be a great folk singer. I dont know him a lot so I have to study his songs and bio.
