As Christians celebrate the Holy Trinity, an unusual sand-figure exhibition displaying the Russian Orthodox Church's major saints, icons and architectural pearls has opened in downtown Moscow.
The multi-figure sand composition is 24-meters high and 7-meters wide. In the center of the sand giant, there is a copy of the famous Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin on the Nerl River, in front of which the masters put the figure of the greatest Russian icon painter, Andrey Rublev, alongside his famous icon "The Holy Trinity". Among the other sand figures, there are St. Sergey of Radonezh and Russian prince Dmitry Donskoy.
