I considered surgery in the past but didn't do it. Since then, I've discovered I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). I personally think in a few years the media will state that probably 30% of overweight women have PCOS. It's worth reading everything you can find on the internet about it. Even IF you've done the surgery--you can have more post-op success if you learn about PCOS. Stevia is the safest sweetener. Also, try making organic veggie shakes in a blender. B-12 shots are good.

You're looking so good! Congrats on your success. I'm going to do the lapband and even though it's different I relate to your videos! Thank you so much for posting them.

My first post didn't post correctly. I just wanted to let you know that you look wonderful. I am planning on my surgery in mid december if everything goes well so I am reallllllly nervous and you give me hope that I can do this and make it through!!!

Do you have to do the b12 shots or can you do a pill or liquid?
what does 'havent dumped yet' mean in relation to your sugar intake? Is that a post opp gbp term?
ps. i appreciate the honesty about your relationship in regards to your weight gain. i can relate to having the love but not as much of the 'passion' i want in my relationship due to the excess weight.

yeah, it is a term that describes when a GBP eats too much sugar, it is dumped into the small iontestine without being processed and makes us very sick. Sweating, racing heart, bunches of stuff that are super unpleasant. that is why i stay below 8 grams of sugar at any one meal

Y do u say that Equal and Splenda is bad for you? I've read on the labels of S&L that it causes cancer (I think). But whats up with the other ones?
gdotritch 3 years ago
This is hotly debated and is sorta an opinion thing. Splenda was discovered while making a pesticide. I persoanlly hate the taste of it. Equal is a known carcenogen. Sweet n low had some issues in the 80's but they determined it safe. It has been around for 50 years. I personally prefer sweet n low and after 8 months of steady use I have felt great and all my blood labs are good so I feel good about it. Do what you feel is best

You look really young, and ure profile says u're 28, so I'd advice you to also look into torrid.
lane bryant is cool, but my friends are in love with torrid cuz its more hip, and current styles that are normally only avaialble for smaller size females.
Congrats!

Thanks! In about 2 months i guess I will be a "normal" size so investing in Torrid is kinda moot, but thanks! I do like Hot Topic.
