During September 2008 Splash for Trash clean-up, A diver has experienced a "Low on Air" Situation. Luckily air leak was found on his eyes.

..Mask clearing was performed by blowing through his eyes...

  • this guy can dive with pool goggles :) i know some freedivers who dive with pool goggles and equalise them this way.

  • @1101111010101101 Yup, I tried doing that (about 30 ft to 40 ft) but when its too deep (90 ft to 100 ft) , it hurts.

  • The only problem is when I equalize I have to close my eyes. I can even chose which ear to equalize by closing a particular eyelid. Also when I equalize with my eyes open, it fogs up my mask. hehe

  • @mraissam1997 Yup it's normal, we have a natural passage way from the nose to the eyes for tears but due to excess pressure exerted when we blow to equalize sometimes it passes thru the eyes..
