  • @feherman86 sure asshole keep thinking that...

  • Same old mainstream homeless bashing...some of the people who comment here should actually try living on the streets, just to learn how fucking clueless they are about the reality of it. Years searching without adequate employment and some yuppie fuck from the burbs telling you to get a job and that there's no excuse? You would be pissed off for the utter fucking insult and saddened by the sheer dip-shit ignorance of the statement.

  • Of course there are also the homeless who lie and cheat people into paying for their drug addictions.

    The mentally ill used to be in the hospitals getting treatment until it was decided it was against their rights. Which way do they want it? They are on the street because they refuse treatment and can't be forced unless they are a danger to themselves or others.

    Some of the homeless population just doesn't want to work and contribute and have to follow some rules of society.

  • why don't you just put your life together. I understand there are difficulties but it's definitely 'Do-able' With everything PC now a day there are resources for people with every sort of issue..

  • No worries please. Thank's for your comment. If u decide to leave them that means for me that your are care, which is what I want from Torontonians. Fro info on homelessness in Canada you can read reports made by Gordon Laird. Finally it is all about the person's ability to change and I agree with that.

  • Dear TSPV7;

    Thank you for your answer. I respect your compassion and I believe that you want to help.

    I would support my government in providing more health spaces to fight addiction and a clean place for someone to live until they can take better care of themselves.

    But no individual can improve until they realize that they have no one to blame but themselves.

    After that, the healing will begin.

    Please understand, I do respect your work and thank you.

    Fred in Bloor West.

  • Maybe you right but many of these people just can't change their life's because of the psychological problems. By making this film I would like to show a real situation with homelessness in Toronto and gave them chance to speak; to explain what can be done to change situation for better. I'm also an immigrant like your family, it is all about the strength to fight for the normal living. The government policy on this issue is wrong

  • My parents came here without english language skills and no money. They took every honest job they could and made a good life for themselves.

    They taught me to get a good education and stay away from illegal drugs.

    No person born here with all the opportunities of Canada has an excuse.

    Drug addiction starts as a choice long before it turns into an addiction.

  • Your biggest problem is not wanting to work
