Church of Christ Week Long Debate #8: Is Water Baptism Really the Plan of Eternal Salvation?

Is the "Church of Christ" founded by Alexander Campbell & others in the nineteenth century in America really the true "Restored" Christian Church claiming the "Ancient Gospel?" The Campbellites claim that you must be dipped in water or be damned in hell. Campbellites also make the claim that their "Restoration Movement" is the true reestablishment of New Testment Gospel truths that lead to spiritual salvation. Consequently, Campbellites believe their religious organization is the only true "church", an idea shared by numerous cults. Many branches of Campbellism teach a variety of "works salvation" doctrines comprised of any number of "do's & don'ts" works righteousness duties. Larry Wessels of Christian Answers, www.BibleQuery.org, hosts this series. Bob Ross, author of "Campbellism, Its History & Heresies," debates nationally known writer Bill Jackson of Southwest Church of Christ on these issues.

@Russkiy1976 Please see our YOUTUBE video, "EASTERN ORTHODOXY: SALVATION BY EARNED WORKS, ICONS, TRADITION, DEIFICATION & THE VIRGIN MARY" which shows the Orthodox Church to be a counterfeit "Christian Church" just like Campbellism (except besides water baptism for salvation heresies that are similar, the "Church of Christ" goes with a multitude of other works for salvation that are different than "Orthodox" works. @jeshurun In Russia we always beelived in remission of sins in baptism in oder to obtaine salvation sinse 890year and ealier from 1century to us Ortodox Church too.
