This show is so fucking racist

Awful character. This is the first time I've seen this show. But just as I was thinking the bad old days are over with cool dude Harry Shum playing Mike Chang on Glee, and cool athlete Jeremy Lin playing the best basketball for the Nicks in a long time, I come across this stereotypically racist portrayal of an Asian guy. I guess getting rid of racist stereotypes is a slow creeping step by step process. I heard the live action version of AKIRA will only have White male leading characters. Too bad

@bluemonolith88 Your statement about America being a democratic country is a joke =]. Just wanted to point that out. The illusion of Americans having control over the government is nothing but propaganda.
-
@bluemonolith88 if there actually was mountains of evidence, maybe people like me would change our views. Your facts are ideas are merely subjective, and questionable, at that. You're projecting your personal beliefs

@MojoMunkeez Btw, in the eyes of whites and blacks, most E. Asians look the same and get treated similar. I follow American basketball, and I did find it offensive how American media took racist potshots at Jeremy Lin, even though he is Taiwanese American, and I'm a Korean national because we are both Asians. I find it odd how your Chinese heritage and Mr. Han's character's supposed Korean ethnicity have something to do with how you're reacting rather softly to this offensive Asian character.

@MojoMunkeez I said it's "fairer." And there is plenty of ground for blaming an American for his/her government because that Aemrican likely pays taxes for US government (which helps fund US government to exercise its foreign policy), works in America (which also contributes to US government in forms of taxes), etc. And you're not making proper analogies. We are talking about blaming a present day American for present day US government's foreign policy, not US foreign policy of the past.

@bluemonolith88 even if "fairness" is relative, there's no grounds for blaming an American for his government. Think of it this way, is it fair to blame you for what your parents did 20 years ago? Is it fair to blame today's Japanese people for what happened in World War II? Or how about is it fair to blame the Mongolians for what Genghis Khan did during his conquest in the Yuan Dynasty? You're really going to argue this?
Earl is freaking epic. And Warning -- This show is not recommended for people who take things way too seriously. Its offensive, crude and stereotypical. But I love it.
