@saz4rocks theoretically she's pumping the fluid into her uterus and "washing out the fetus" but it doesn't work

Actually, I am pro-life and I love science and not allergic to it.

According to the CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, the risk of death associated with abortion in the United States is less than 0.6 per 100,000 procedures, which is less than one-tenth as large as the risk associated with childbirth.
-
From the Journal of the AMA, Nada Stotland, M.D., former president of the Association of Women Psychiatrists, stated:
"Significant psychiatric sequelae after abortion are rare, as documented in numerous methodologically sound prospective studies in the United States and in European countries... The incidence of diagnosed psychiatric illness and hospitalization is considerably lower following abortion than following childbirth."

what might your resource be? personal experience of all variables? general hear-say? assumption that natural child birth is primeval, incarcerating, and just another model of man-overpowering-woman? In reference to, yes, legal abortions:
"Complications such as these are common, as are bleeding, hemorrhage, laceration of the cervix, menstrual disturbance, inflammation of the reproductive organs, bladder or bowel perforation, and serious infection."
Not even considering mental repercussions.

i might do a sociology paper on this film... I'm not sure yet...I might save the idea when I take womens studies or women in film

I think that people should keep in mind, however, that abortion is not necessarily "safe" even when it is legal. For instance, the film indicates that the majority of terminations performed by "Vera" did not develop complications, just as most women don't get physically ill from abortions, but they still do now that abortion is legal.
Facts? You're gonna make those prolifers blow a gasket. They're allergic to science.

Be that as it may, legal abortions are much safer than going through with a pregnancy, labor and delivery.
