"Intimacy"

Lyrics:
Lying here with you, I am in bliss, were it only to stay this way forever. Your skin so soft against mine, and chills travel up my arms to my chest, where there your head lays, as I caress my fingers through your hair, closing my eyes to drink you in. Wrapped up in the other, I cannot tell where you stop and I begin, entangled in this sultry perfection, dimmed light as notes dance through the air. I whisper to you softly what you mean to me, and you answer by lifting your chin to mine, as we lose ourselves in our kiss. And I feel your love for me, no words are adequate for this which overtakes me, I am swept away by your beauty and the gentleness of your touch. Safe I feel in your embrace, never wanting to leave, and shutting out the world around us, as the clock ceases to beat, freezing this moment forever. What is this intimacy we share, one I read only in stories, proves to exist in your eyes, where it calls out to me and I answer so sweetly. I trust you, as none other before or after, and in you I see what is missing from me, for you complete me. A part of you, a part of me, bound together in bittersweet love, spinning around us and through us as at last we are. So many dreams and fantasies, can this be real, feeling you here with me instead of a chilled air, warm and inviting, and mine. One I treasure more than the breath I breathe, you are, my love, and I cup your face in my hands as I return my lips to yours, and lay so deeply into you, telling all with each sigh that escapes me. Running my hands over your back, I can feel you move with me, and shudder in pleasure from my touch, and I am simply not myself anymore, for I am yours, and you are mine. Where none can steal away or destroy, or stop us, here we are, to flood all we held inside, and we are carried away. You close into me, your soft words as a song and your face as stars on a darkened field, you are so lovely to me. A tear escapes my eyes in awe of you, for I am stupefied at how such a vision as you could return my love so flawlessly, as if you know what I need before I speak. Yet all I need is you, all I desire is you, I melt so completely into you, a perfect form as one we are as together we move in rhythm. Molding together, over and over, enclosing each other in this world that is now ours, with increasing passion that rages inside, completely uninhibited and free, are we. And this not to end, for it is only the beginning of what we have both have clung to and wished upon. Yet even still I crave you more, as no matter how much I press into you I just cannot get close enough. And were I inside you, my desire for you would never be quenched. You fill me through and through, and we flow into the other as tides on the shores, erupting into madness, yes this is ours. Seeing my love mirrored in you, and your heart dance to my touch against my chest, we share one last, but then another, unending sweetness to savour. As slumber becomes us wrapped in the other, under this sky we share, and all the world has seen not such a perfect love, as in us. The silence beckons us on into the hours, and time begins to beat once more, yet this time tis for us, now joined and never to depart, it is ours. Now, and forever.
