KiNGS: 10-man Kologarn (World of Warcraft)

Prefacing this by saying I did get hit by a few of the counterspell/kick type interrupt effects while in melee range, since it was pretty much our second pull of this guy, so I learned quite a bit about the fight, and that having the healers in melee range seems a lot better than having them laser dodge, at least it was for us.

One of the seven bosses we downed on our second run through ten-man Ulduar on April 25-26th (looong raid!), 2009.

This is the fifth kill, Kologarn! Unfortunately, I didn't capture footage of the fourth, the Iron Assembly. After this we proceeded to take out both Ariaya and Ignis the Furnace Master. All in all it was challenging, fun and a great learning experience for all involved. We hope to progress even further before the reset of the week of this video's posting, but we're very happy with what we've gotten.

Though this is a "KiNGS" (our guild) labeled video, it actually consisted primarily of two guilds: KiNGS and Fellowship. Along with a few other players as we had to replace folks along the way. Thanks to all involved!

Please feel free to comment on anything you like. The quality of the video, editing, player skill, etc. I shall continue to post individual boss fights as soon as I feel the editing is worthy enough to interest people and not be boring. I normally I have my camera faced in a manner that's not quite all that exciting. I shall try to keep this in mind as I continue to capture footage.

That is correct, sir! Though I suppose technically you could avoid him by going to the Iron Assembly to the left of the stairs instead, I can't really say beyond that as I don't really look at the layout.

It's also worth noting that a single tank can handle the fight now, save for the adds when the arm goes down.
