Kinder Happy Hippo TV Add

Hi Guys!
OK, you may have seen this on TV, but this is one of the adverts for the Kinder Happy Hippo Biscuits, and believe it or not, my sister and I are the two kids. Yes, that little boy was me when I was 7 years old, and the little girl was my sister Anna when she was 9! Hard to believe, I know, but it's TRUE. After we'd done the add, we had all our friends asking whether it was us on the TV! And, needless to say, that's not my real Mum or Dad! I'm now 14 going on 15 in September, and Anna's now 16 - going to be 17 in December. Our moment of fame...lol. We were part of the agency 'Bubblegum' who pick kids for adds. You have to audition, and if they like you, you get asked back for a second, possibly third or fourth, audition. In the audition for this, my sister and I had to eat a crisp as if it were a biscuit!! Also, during the shooting, Anna discovered that she didn't like the biscuits (helpful, I know!). The crew asked her what she did like, and she said "Banana?". So they told her to imagine she was eating banana. But that still didn't work, so she spat it out into a bucket every time! I, on the other hand, loved (and still do) them! But we were only allowed to take one bite, and then throw it away. I didn't like that idea, and wanted to eat all of it every time. They explained that I'd feel sick if I did, which, needless to say, I DID feel on the way home even though I hadn't eaten all of them every time! The add took the WHOLE day to make. That was a lot of biscuit mouthfuls...! But I still love them! We were also asked to laugh at a big piece of blue paper (instead of the hippo!), and we had to 'laugh' for ages! At first it seemed kinda funny that we had to laugh at a piece of paper, but by the end...it was just SO fake! 'ha'...'ha'...'ha'......

@xstarbucksjunkie lol It was great working with that hippo! And I even tried the head on after shooting! It was a bit large!The poor guy in the hippo was so hot that they had to blow through the mouth with a fan to keep him cool! It was a great experience even though I felt sick in the taxi on the way home after eating tens of thousands of biscuits, but I still love them! It was a long day, but it was worth it! I had so many people saying "Was that you and your sister in the hippo advert?!"
