@seriousCODgamer01 Great piece of information and history! I'm 23 now..and I've digged Ice Ice Baby since I first discovered the song when I was in middle school. I really don't understand..how people have so much dis-like for it. I guess he was seen as a "novelty" act from the time he came out. And yes I agree..the lyrics in the IIB top a lof of mainstream rap lyrics that are out today

I was a teenager back in 91 17 to be exact and i remember when Vanilla Ice came on the seen.Everyone and i mean everyone was bumping too the extreme!Ill never forget it and I miss those days when he was on top.Long live the ice man.Also his movie cool as ice was sick.

the thing is that rap deteriorated to a point where "Ice Ice Baby" blows away most of the garbage out there today.... meanwhile "Ice Ice Baby" was a cartoonish joke of a song in it's time, because Hip Hop was far superior at that point.... kids at that time saw VI and said "this guy can't be serious with this garbage"..kids today see VI and say "this is pretty good"...that tells u about the state of Hip Hop today..VI was always a terrible lyricist, but was a great entertainer... he made his mark
