I would take the Micron over the MicroKorg any day. I have owned both. The MicroKorg is fun and portable, but the Micron sounds better and has so many more possibilities. Currently, I only have an XP-30, but I'm thinking about picking up another Micron eventually.

nice.. i think ill post some more stuff that i made in ableton. it sounds much better than just using the micron as a standalone instrument

Your video is a great source of inspiration for me, I have a setup aswell to be used with the cubase sequencer. But I haven't played around with it much.
I'm still exploring the various possibilities the micron has and enjoy every minute of it :-)

what's your opinion about micron? I'd like to buy one, and I'm oscillating between micron and microkorg [I have a microx and I'm very pleased about it!]. best regards from Alba Ecstasy

It depends on what you plan to do with it.
microKorg:
portable (batteries)
mini keys
4 voices
simple arpeggiator
Micron:
full size keys
8 voices
up to 8 arpeggiators / patterns

The sound is pretty equal, it's personal preference.
However the microKorg is clearly the solo instrument while the micron is basically a band in the box.
Think of it as rythm machine, arranger and solo instrument.
If you use it alone, I'd get the micron, if used together with other gear; band the microKorg.
