The sport is Australian Rules Football which is an indigenous game but has some similarity to Gaelic football. it is very popular in the Southern states of Australia. We are in the middle of our final series at the moment and the game on Sunday between Carlton and Essendon clubs (both from the the Melbourne area) attracted 90,100 fans
