Satoriis a luxury holiday villa and retreat which is situated in the Southern Province of the Island approximately 4km away from the historical city of Galle. This villa has been stylishly laid out over 2.5 acres of landscaped lawns and gardens with stunning views and tranquil ponds. The property is found nestled in a steep hill with views of the jungle and valleys below. The drive from the airport takes about 3 1/2 - 4 hours along the Colombo - Galle - Matara main motor way up to a certain point and then inland while trains and buses are also available to Galle on a regular basis.

Main Villa - The main villa at Satori is spaciously laid out over 4000 sq ft and a 3 sided terracotta tiled veranda, a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a utility room with a washer, dryer and iron. The living room boasts of high ceilings, huge and comfortable sofas, an impressive antique dresser packed with the latest DVD's and board games and also a library wit inspirational books and information on Sri Lanka. Suite one and two consists of four poster beds and offer guests ample space to relax in.

These also include a rustic style bathroom with a power shower and hot water. Suite three in the main villa is a unique room with a mahogany staircase and a mezzanine designed specially for couples with children. It can accommodate sleeping for 2 adults or four children. The suite includes 2 junior four-poster beds and a cot while also connecting to an outside bathroom. All beds include mosquito nets while there are ceiling cans and air-conditioning in every bedroom. All rooms are stylishly furnished with terrazzo floors, four poster beds, terracotta bathrooms, ethnic statues, antique furniture, traditional carvings, and colourful large and small scatter cushions.

Coach House - Situated away from the main house is this stunning retro two storey colonial building. This can be used as an open plan deluxe bedroom with a part outdoor en-suite bathroom, walk in dressing room which can also be used as an extra children's room or a well being area for yoga, meditation, massages and reading. The top floor of the house consists of rustic Dutch style tiles surrounded by a Mahogany balustrade and two large sofas. There are antique doors at the back of the house leading up to a granite staircase over to a jungle ridge and ocean view. A favourite among honeymooners, the large open plan room looks out to the main house, pool and gardens.

There is an extra outdoor bathroom which is spacious and clad in bamboo which is set around polished cement. This includes a polished cement sink and shelving, two showers, and a family sized polished cement raised bath facing an impressive rock that cascades water at the press of a button.
