First seventeen or so miles of the Northbound leg (i.e., second leg) of Big Bend Open Road race on 4/25/09. Car - '01 Corvette Z06, running in the 145mph class.

looks like fun...how fast did you get going on that one straight after the rock pass?

I remember looking down at the GPS and it was reading 166mph, so I took my foot off the gas. If I remember correctly, at the end of the race, the max speed reading was 167mph.  I tried to keep it in the 160 to 165 range on all the straights. It was fun!

dang man you make it look so easy. i live in sanderson and i got my gto up to 140 on that first straight by the finish line and man its a lot faster than it looks. good job.
