This movie was shot at 'Flying Beavers' in Vancouver, or, how they call a place more officially - 'Harbour Air' Float Plane Base at the Vancouver International Airport's South Terminal.

It was not a great pleasure to do 'plane spotting' in such a pouring rain, in the dusk of winter evening. Well, there were some 'circumstances', and I was getting a 'kick' out of it 'in my way':)

Look at that mini-tractor! It seems the 'Harbour Air' guys thoughtfully devised and 'tailor-crafted' such a handy and very efficient machine to do the job of pulling planes out of the water at the end of the day. I was writing a post for my blog Clashmaker(dot)com, and the topic was 'the DHC-3 'Otter' turbine, and more powerful piston conversions'. That's how a caption for this clip came from :)

  • WHAT!? it couldn't get up there on it's own power?? wow

  • LOL!!! the small airport in winston salem, nc is like that, you drag the airplane across the road to the shop!!!
