I appreciate the relies everyone.. It's actually something I'm now seriously dealing with. My daughter is now 2 and 2 Christmases have passed. I still have not said anything about it to her but her mom does (we are not together) I know this will be a yearly struggle but I appreciate the support from the internet community

i think that ur right jesus will be nothing in 20 years if this keeps up and i wouldnt want santa to get the credit for something i did

i agree. Its not fair to get their hopes up about something that isnt real. I thought i was the only teenager that thought telling their kids about santa was bad! it also shows kids that lying is ok, which it isnt and sets a bad example. nice video, congrats on the kid!

Three stages in a man's life: You believe in Santa Clause, you don't believe in Santa Clause, you are Santa Clause. My dad used to tell me that ever since I was a kid. Now that I am a parent I realize that he was telling me that Santa is bull shit.

I always tell my kids that Jesus is real, Santa is like Chuck E Cheese. Fun but not real. Kids don't even know or talk about Jesus, just Satan Clause. It is a plot to remove Jesus from Christ-mas. Over 100 years will they even know Jesus?
