You can compare Maserati Quattroporte and Fiat 130 Coupé 3200 Pininfarina with the 604! Great!

Wonderful video! Too bad there wasn't more footage of these graceful ladies out on the road, cosseting their passengers as only a Peugeot can. Still have fond memories of my family's two 604s, a '79 SL V6 5spd. (which I learned to drive in at the ripe old age of 10) and an '80 SL V6 auto. Great, underrated, underappreciated, and underloved cars.

Hmmm. I just read on the net the other day that the best you could get in an original spec 604 engine was 150 but you could fit the Talbot Tagora SX engine and exhaust which has 165.

I have measured my 604 2,8 Gti engine in stock condition well maintained 180 HP!! Good and strong engine! Some 2,8 have 175 HP.....

The stry that PRV engines are slow are not true, very often these engines are out of adjustment (K-Jetronic often has clogged jets, lines, pumps, filters etc.,...)
