Just imagine if Fox news gave Dr Ron Paul the credit he earned for serving honestly in the congress for 20 yrs when he was running for president. He might have won.Just imagine what our country would be now, the economy would be picking up, needless wars would be ended. A constitutional government would be emerging.

Imagine, sanity, logic, common sense, morals, integrity being put into the presidency, wow, a 1st.

Just imagine.

But do not forget Ron Paul a name synonymous with liberty.

Paper is not currency unless it has the backing of something valuable. Today, money is worthless.

Well, you have 3 alternative choices: you can have barter and trade (where one good is traded for another), you can also have communal property where nobody owns anything and shares all (it has never been able to overcome human's incessant need to "own" things), and you can have government running the show (the worst possible scenario imaginable). All of these are insufficient for all needs. Currency allows for the exchange of objects that have the accepted value of goods (i.e gold money).

Remember, FOX screwed Ron Paul by leaving him out of the debates even though he had more deligates than Giuliani at the time (Giuliani was allowed to participate). Screw the mainstream media: ABC (Disney), NBC and MSNBC (General Electric), CBS (VIACOM) and CNN (Time Warner). They are "bought and paid for" corporate news designed to obfuscate and distract from the real crimes happening in this once great republic.

Reagan believed we should move back to a gold standard. His handlers did not like him to talk about it but he did believe that. Also, Alan Greenspan (before he was corrupted by the fed) promoted a gold standard as a return to sound money. What we have now is Fiat Currency or legalized counterfeiting. Thank God for Ron Paul. He is the only one talking about the criminal enterprise known as the Federal Reserve Bank and the scam that they have perpetrated on the American People since 1913.

If I would watch the controlled media I would be more educated? Are you being paid to be ignorant or does it come all natural for you?

Do a few minutes of research on Rupert Murdoch, how many companies own rights to what IS and ISN'T covered through media 'now' compared to say 50 years ago. MSM is simply a means to inform the public a limited source of reality to keep the viewers lost. example: Millions of people are dying each day from corrupt wars and we got M. Jackson coverage 24/7 for weeks.

You need to look at the legal tender laws. You can not use gold for payment of goods. You can sell the gold to the person. Big difference.
