There was still a bit of time yet to finish that race because you can go up to 10:59.

That is the same speed as the PAL. I'm guessing that it only effects SEGA games.

Luigi always was a complete git in this game. This game is a classic example of how even rudimentary A.I. can be imbued with great personality by excellent design, really fuelling the player's imagination.

August 1993 it came out apparently. In Japan. I imagine we had to wait at least six months after that over here in backwater UK though.

I don't think I mentioned in the vid that this was one of the first SNES games I ever received as a gift. My dad saw a TV demo in Toys R Us and knew I'g be crazy for it. Made for one hell of a christmas.

Great coverage...this is one of those games that will always be pretty good fun to play (which helps if you're covering them for YouTube in 2009 :P ), and you're right about the sequels too - all good fun. :)
