  • do you have stock gears?

  • Is the vortech supercharger reliable enough for a daily driver?

  • I made 330whp/220tq on my vortech v2 (ap2) (H/E/Haltech PS500/BERK 70mm HFC) on the 3.8" pulley @ 7 psi. Has a FMIC. Nicely done buddy

  • Holy mother fuck

  • @catawalks Wow this is one old ass video . For anyone wondering , the rear end is stock but the transmission is in fact an ap2 box . In case some of you dont know the ap2 transmission has a taller 6th gear hence allowing me to get the indicated mph . I doubt the speedo was accurate at those speeds though . If i had to guess id say around 173 mph give or take . The car is now making 400whp with the same Vortech supercharger just more boost and a good engine management system .

  • @catawalks Gotta tell you im no mechanic but i work with the guy who owns this and the diff is COMPLETELY STOCK.

  • @catawalks I have to clarify this some more because I see a lot of posts about there being no drag so that's why it is going so fast. That's completely false. Simple physics shows us the truth. 8800rpm / 4.1 final drive * 77 inch tire circumference / 63360 inches per mile * 60 minutes per hour. Using this simple math, we see that the top speed is 156.5mph which is well within any margin of error. Reverse calculation of his top speed shows he needs to hit 10300rpm on stock wheels and final drive.

  • @ryu750 , that makes no sense. Just because there is less friction doesn't mean the engine has a higher redline. The maximum number of rpms times the final drive ratio is always going to put the wheels spinning at the same top speed. He has to have a longer 6th in there or he was smart and put a lower ratio diff in there to make use of all that power instead of shifting every 2 seconds with 4.77's or something.

  • I have a gt40 turbo on a fully built motor (the third one) and it has roughly 390hp and I topped out at 173, wind pays a roll and so does the friction of tires on pavement
