The up-and-coming Joe Pug stopped by Laundromatinee.com's VIBES II location to perform our first outdoor session. In the 6 months since self releasing the "Nation of Heat" EP, Pug landed a major booking agency (Monterey International) and sold out his first two headlining shows in Chicago. Nic Harcourt recently played "Hymn #101" on Morning Becomes Eclectic after it was featured as KCRW's Top Tune. The song was also recently featured on NPR's Second stage with a glowing review. Pug is truly a rising star and we're thrilled to help in any way we can. Check out Hymn 101, Nation Of Heat and two new unreleased tracks he performed for us!

  • quite awhile now since Joe appeared, i've seen him about 6 times since 2009, always a joy.

  • @LJAXD lol look at his fingers, really basic chords.

  • His voice is just so amazing. He sounds like he has an old soul. It just leaves me breathless. :']

  • I hear Em7 instead of the G chord.. The capo thing makes me confused sometimes though.

  • good god. this guy blows me away, and i write music too. i have tons of respect for his style. pretty much fucking perfect.

  • @LJAXD and a Bmin in there too.

  • If you get a chance, see Joe on his current tour, i've seen him 5 times now, incredible, incredible artist, then, when you are old, you can tell your grandbabies you were there when it all started....

  • Lyrics are near perfection, delivered with honesty and passion. You, Mr. Pug, are from a dying breed. Thank you for sharing - I feel a better man for it.

  • best kept secret is right, but this man can change things.... i know he's got this far without a label,........ but if any label in america want's to sit back and let somebody show the world how to right songs again, then they should pull their finger out of the arse and grab a pen
