Josh Reed, the 2001 Biletnikoff winner for college football's best WR, makes a difficult TD catch to put the Tigers up for good in the Peach Bowl against Georgia Tech in 2000.

The announcer, Ron Franklin of ESPN, has a great voice and is a gentleman in his profession. However, he has a terrible history of mispronouncing player's names. I could be wrong but I swear he incorrectly call's LSU's QB, Rohan Davey, Rohan Marley. I wonder if that has anything to do with Ro- being from the Carribean.

  • Is the ruling different in college football? It only looks like he got one foot inbounds on that catch. I'm just asking, I'm from the UK and I only really watch the NFL, and not NCAA football.

  • Yes, the college rules are different in that respect than in the NFL. In college, only one foot needs to be in play for the catch to be considered a completion. There are a few major differences such as a player being down with one knee regardless of college which is different than the NFL.

  • Rohan Marley is the name of Bob Marley's son who played for U of Miami just a few years ago. Marley may have still been playing at the time this vid was made. Franklin probably just had a brain fart. To make it worse, Davey played highschool ball in Miami, and is from the Carribean, similar to Marley!

  • Didn't know that... thanks for the clarification.
