The Labour Partys 2010 animated manifesto films. Watch the video to find out about Labours policies for improving the transparency and accountability of politics.

Since 1997 Labour has transformed the UKs constitutional arrangements in order to break up longstanding concentrations of power, improve transparency, make government more accountable to the people and strengthen the hand of citizens against the state.

But the process is far from over. It is clear that people want to change the way politics is done in this country. Labour will renew our politics with a radical, modern, open and democratic process of reform to change the way our nation governs itself.

  • How can Labour even say this? Am I wrong or is it the Labour party who have held off till the last possible month to hold the GE...and is it not the Labour party who have failed to have TWO promised referendums in the last five years of term? The reason they are relying on cartoons is because it would be clear to see the lies in Brown's face when he tried to pass this off!

    Absolute joke.

  • Oh and you want us to have a say more than once every 5 years? then why wait untill the last possible moment to have an election, there should hav been one two years ago.

  • The Labor Party freed up the constrictive fixed system the rich had in place for centuries: now on to an elected second chamber with either Labor or the Dems. If the Conservatives were in again I imagine they would re-close bars at 11pm and make smoking compulsory everywhere.

  • lala

  • @MrCshayton oh and i suppose your voting torry's. i can tell you now, shools in this country wouldn't be anywhere near as good as they are now if the torry's were still in power, also they would've got rid of the nhs.

  • i wanna ask why does labour want a one world government?

  • hmmm

  • Actually, it's anyones choice. If I could, I would ask Gordon to show more of what he has to offer to the UK. At the moment, we are bombarded by negative things.

  • The problem is not that we have a Labour Government, but that we don't have one. Labour became New Labour, then Non labour and now they're Anti Labour. Its time to have a real Labour government instead of 31 years of Blue Tories and Red Tories. However this is a vital election. There may only be an inch of difference between labour and the Tories, but its that inch we have to live in!

  • First time voter. Interesting how they seem to be both supporting and "taking the mick" of the protester at the same time (Cheese has feelings too etc.). An interesting concept if they can deliver it.

  • "How can you tell when a politician's lying?"

    "Their lips move!"

Max Headroom for president! Let's have a computer-generated politician for a change!
