This is a little demonstration of a something I've been working on. An installation of Ubuntu tweaked for vst use on a portable usb drive that can boot on several machines. Sorry about the quality, it was recorded with a digital camera.

  • I don't think so... :-) As they were made to run in windows.

  • It's an ordinary digital photos camera, mate. :) I tried a screen capture utility, but it would bring the system down to its knees when playing and recording at the same time.

  • is ubuntu more reliable than windows for brainspawn and vsts in gereral?

  • Hi man, have you ever tried out the 64Studio Distrobution?

    Apparently its designed more for music production in mind, and can handle a lot of vsts also. Some are not compatible of course.

    If you havent heard of it check it out, i havent used it yet but looks promising.
