GM John Harvey V's GM Danny Guba WEKAF 94

This is the contravercial fight at the 1994 WEKAF World Championships in Manila, Philippines that some would have you beleive did not happen as it would mean that their claims that GM Danny Guba is 5 times undefeated World Champion. Here we see GM John Harvey beating GM Danny Guba in the Semi Final of the veterans division.
Note: GM Danny was also beaten at the WEKAF World Championships in Cebu City, Philippines in 1989 in the same division where GM John Harvey won silver.

The reason the video was posted because the claims where made by him both verbally and in the main stream martial arts magazine if how he was 'Undefeated' World Champion. No matter a persons reputation be it hype or not lies are lies. The is nothing wrong with losing just don't pretend it never happened.

The footage is over 16 years old. GM Danny looked very different back then. Like most of us. GM John Harvey just seems to have got a little greyer but looks much the same.

@Doubledee222. Simple really I was there seen it happen but abviously your not going to believe me. So ask both John Harvey and Danny Guba. And of course there are the final results tables as well as this you can even ask the current wekaf president Sharon Burns who also witnessed the fight.

with all due respect, I met GM Danny at one of the Senis and I found him to be a very humble and admirable oldschool Filipino elder. It's very hard to see how anyone would post childish claims (right or wrong) n desparately ask the world to believe 'me' i did get him;/ its up to your students and the community to believe it or not. Sorry just fed up of martial artists who should b setting MATURE examples to b looking so desparate. footage or no footage.how u carry urself is more important.

im jus a doce pares fma fan n just like watching random videos on this, but why is there a video slamming Gm Danny Guba on how he lost a stick contest? just seems a lil bit desparate like trynna prove aliens exist. Look if u win good for you, if u lose- it happens. And in the end...noone really cares. Students to FMA truly dont care about the pollitcal issues n wana stay well away from it unless u allow urself to get brainwashed.well lol, welldone red n black (whoeever they are lol) good fight.

It is a shame that there are officials destroying the integrity of the art. I just hope our brothers of the art that take the role as officials to date will be more concern of not only propagating the art but uphold integrity for the next generation to come.
