Reaction: Obama calls out cops in Gates' arrest

- In a news conference last night, President Obama said that Cambridge, Massachusetts police acted stupidly in arresting prominent black Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates. Was the President right to comment on the incident?

- Do you think the Cambridge police acted honestly in this case and abided by the law?

- Do you believe police treat minorities, such as African- Americans and Hispanics, with more suspicion?

@KawaRider88 I don't want to start a racial issue, but...the police had all ready established that the prof., was the legal owner of the home he allegedly was breaking into. The prof. was upset that the officers walked into his home, uninveted, and behaved inappropriately, by NOT leaving when he provided them with proof. The officer took offence! The police are supposed to be trained to ignore insulting remarks and should have just walked away voicing their error for inconvieniencing the prof.

FACT; A police office cannot enter a home, or domicile, unless invited in by the legal owner of that home, or has reason to suspect that a crime has been committed on said property.FACT; The legal owner of that home has the right to order police, or, anyother reperesentative of law enforcement, Off of their premises/property unless they-the police-have proof that the person has comitted a crime, or, that the dwellng is not their home. ?: Why, didn't the police go after the proof was given?

Btw if you don't follow a police orders you can go to jail for it. African Americans always pull out the, "why is it because I'm black card" just shows you how immature someone can be. We are all treated equal. The police officer just wanted to question the man and the professor did not comply. But instead tells the officer why is it because I'm black. Once again everyone the officer wasn't being racist, just trying to ask the man a question.
