It was all good except for the animation which was floaty and didn't seem natural like most of the animation reels on youtube atm.... inc down votes :P

You've got the right idea, but you've got a long way to go. Are you using Maya to animate? Are you checking your curves in the graph editor? Everything feels a bit stiff, for the most part. Loosen things up a bit and allow for your secondary animation to follow through. Like I said, you've got the right idea - just build on it from there.

Sound is only necessary if there is actual dialogue. Otherwise it can come across as annoying.
