When every note and every syllable is struck at its precise moment, the patterns of the syllables and polyrhythms creates an exhilarating sensation in the brain that reaches down to the depths of one's soul. Words don't mean much, but tonite, Swapanji demonstrated what it means. He literally took control of "time" with his vast experience of the tala along with his subtle nuances and modulations exploring all what the tabla as a percussion instrument is capable of. The result was pure melodious music.
