I'm french i can answer you, the police don't handcuff someone when there's no need to, like in the video, if it is a dangerous person, yes, if it's a guy disguised as a radar, no handcuff needed ^^ and Montpellier's police knows him well now haha. So yes, different methods, i always see americans saying "oh, he would be shot in the us" ect, well, french police can't shoot people, it's forbidden, unless they're being threatened. voila voila

Not every country is as violent as USA, there's only need to handcuff/tazer if he is a great threat, unlike american cops that love to abuse people because nothing happens to them.

The american laws and their enforcers is only powerabuse. Handcuff someone that obviously do not pose threat, is only made in US. Its only in US you can make money, as a private person, on prisoners. Says alot about USA.
