Did Corporations influence the government or did the government influence corporations?......The chicken or the egg. A trivial argument, that needs to be solved before we can make progress.

No matter how inconvenient, how much extra it costs, I find ways every day to vote NO to CORPORATIONS with my dollar and lifestyle; I'm not near where I want to be, though. For one small instance; I have actively boycotted Proctor & Gamble for going on 8 yrs now, and have made many people aware...Buy Local, Buy Fresh is the saying around here...actually around everywhere! People have to be aware they are voting with their dollars every day!! Non-Walmart shopper for 5 years now...etc.

@touber2011 here here, well said. with the exception of the day AC/DC's Black Ice was released (My favorite band, just about anything takes a back seat to AC/DC) I haven't stepped foot in a Wal-Mart sense July of '07. I'm the same way, thanks for watching.

@FatherPatOphelia Evil Wal-Mart; in my small town of 20,000 or so, they moved in and basically put all the independent business out of business: made the city sign a 10 year contract to not let in any other competitors, ie: ShopKo, K-mart, or Target....evil. They take over many small towns this same way; being a monopoly that pays their employees minimum wage while maximizing profits by buying slave-labored goods from third world countries; they even have their own airport straight to China!

The gov't "came" first...they wanted to have complete control, power/money...their "in" was through WS; I believe once upon a time, politicians were able to begin their ties with corp through WallStreet. Once they're able to infiltrate the media; they can make promises to the corporations, and so on in circles. Pharma is huge in this also! Huge.  They all feed each other on the same crooked, silver spoon...someone needs to put a fork in the mix!! ;P

I would never argue that Corporations are inherently evil, or that Government is inherently evil, the problem as i see it is the relationship between government and corporations has become unhealthy. People have a vague notion that something is very wrong but most miss the root cause.

Truth At Occupy Wall Street uploaded by libertywriters(judge interviews him & show's vladimir's video). you can find full video at mcintaggart1's channel. it's way more than 130million if we count all of history's socialism. i've traveled to those countries & heard about their ridiculous former egalitarian systems.like collectivized farms where ppl only care to work when theyre about to starve but they got no tools!
