This video was created in 2006 and was intended to be shown as a large projection on a massive wall space. It portrays the artist Priscilla Ainhoa, going through the various stages of an almost ritualistic process of the ripping of a canvas artistically. The physicality and intimacy as well as the intense power before stabbing the canvas with a scissors, allowed for the emergence of an almost pure ecstatic experience. The bodily postures and movements were also akin to the emotions of a higher state of consciousness, liberating feelings to a spiritual like trance where the artist and the canvas become one.
The song is entitled 'Spesso, Sprofondo' by Emma Shapplin. Video was taken by Julian Calleja McCall and the video was edited by Pierre. D. Zammit.

Wrong, the song is entitled "Spesso, Sprofondo", and is from her second album "Etterna"; you can hear her saying it if you listen to the lyrics :)
