Allusions

* The Warrior of Light's "Fang" attacks are named after a series of items which execute elemental attacks when used in battle.

* The Braveheart is a weapon dropped by Yamatano Orochi in the Whisperwind Cove and Marilith in the Hellfire Chasm in the Dawn of Souls and 20th Anniversary editions of Final Fantasy.

* The Barbarian Sword is the strongest weapon available in the 20th Anniversary edition, surpassing even the Ultima Weapon, and can only be obtained by defeating the strongest version of Chronodia in the Labyrinth of Time.

Trivia

* In Destiny Odyssey I-5 and in his EX-Burst, the Warrior of Light makes the same pose as the one found on the original game cover illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano.
Warrior of Light is one of the only characters in the game never to be called by his name.

* According to Destiny Odyssey 109, the Warrior of Light is the last character to retrieve his Crystal, but his storyline is the first to begin.

* Warrior of Light's storyline has a few unique aspects compared to the other characters: he is the only character to fight the same enemy twice in one storyline (Garland), he is the only character to face a boss in the middle of a stage rather than at the end (Ultimecia), and he has the most boss fights of any character's storyline, a total of five, whereas all other characters fight no more than three.

* Warrior of Light is the only character to fight his opposing warrior during the opening cinematic.

* In the end all the of the heroes return to their respective home, except for the Warrior of Light who simply walk towards to Castle Cornelia, thus speculated that his ending is just the beginning of Final Fantasy where he begins his new adventure. Although this might be very unlikely since he and Garland knew each other before the course of Dissidia, while in the original game making it their first encounter.

  • its orange because i have a friend who's color blind to red.

  • is orange bcuz thats how he looks..

  • its orange because its the demo

  • lol I was thinking the same!

  • Maybe it's orange to let the other player know they might be screwed?

  • well the orange/gold looks strangely like the Haste status in most games, so maybe they were going for that. idk, but it's nothing to complain about. it's not like the color of the EX Gauge is a major part of the gameplay. u probably won't even notice it too much when u're actually playing the game.

  • they did? wow, I mean the gauge flashed and EX MODE appeared over the bars. Oh well, orange is more noticable, but so is red. Why couldn't they have chosen an awesome color like red?

  • I think "The Final Blow" may just be something that other countries would find more thrilling, or something like that. I'm surprised that critical health or Break status doesn't say "Finish him!" That would be funny and awesome at the same time

  • Serious and dark games don't have to have everything in dark colors.

  • Why not?
