  • My power steering is too stiff. How do I make it smooth??

  • @jvniterider Short answer - you can't. You need to check for recalls about your steering and if there is none you need to get it in to a mechanic to check the the steering system.

  • should all fluids, be checked with the engine off or on?

  • @Frico1964 Most every car - you check them with the engine off - except for the automatic transmission fluid which needs the engine running - see your owners manual to double check

  • @REDDEADREDAMNTION - If I saved just one life its worth it

  • Why would a manufacturer want the automatic transmission fluid only checked by the dealer??? That seems kind of odd to me.

  • @Frico1964 If you have a Honda or Acura, the automatic trans. fluid is checked with the engine OFF.

  • Oh my goodness, thank you!
