@GaryGranite NOBODY with a Grammy makes 15 an hour...at least 100 an hour and them all own their facilities, having people making money for them while not mixing or producing...sometimes, they work for free actually...to keep/build more connection and bcs they want/need/support good new artists!

Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, We got Ex'pression in Emeryville. (as of now). I've heard they would charge enough money for your funeral expenses to sign up for some classes. Hell, I had part of my free training as an intern/second engineer at Starlight Sound in nearby Richmond, doing graveyard sessions. Currently, the one-room studio is long gone.

I worked at full sail in the midi department for a year until they fired me for teach. Yes teaching. While the other teacher came in stoned, fell asleep during class and complained that I gave a shit, complained that I wasn't a team player, I was fired without benefits two days before Christmas. 3 months later I was hired my another school as the program director for the entire program.
