@doriansu haha, yeah, I'm gonna have trouble with that one too. lol. I kinda want to see that too! Hmm, "mambo italiano" meets "oy vey! My son is gay"? I like.
Oh but of course. Don't forget Sturm und Dram. After all Goethe most definitely was the original emo. haha

You couldn't find "The Jew of Malta" anywhere, except online, and my search for "Oy Vey! My Son Is Gay!!" has been fruitless haha... I guess I'll have to wait for your review of it ;-) A gay themed movie intertwining a Jewish and Italian family would be so fun to watch, especially since I enjoy the parlance of those two ethnicities :) Enjoy "The Sorrows of Young Werther" as it takes you through the avenues of weltschmerz, streets of our futile existence, roads devoid of honesty and empathy :-)

@alexmanian I will look forward to that.

@OLDS98 Reading, yes! Job, meh. It keeps the cash flow going. My summer is about to get a lot more interesting tho, stay tuned. :D
Ow my god I love Marlowe, but I've heard from him because I was a theatre major. Have you ever compared the Jew of Malta to Shylock from The Merchant of Venice?

@PoeticPoppa haha, I'm not. Just an academic. And I have not, but I have seen the Merchant of Venice preformed and there were footnotes in my copy comparing the two. It was really interesting. :D

I'm enjoying your trek through the 15 books of summer. 2 down 13 to go. If I weren't leaving one job, moving, and starting a new job, I'd be taking that trek too. Thanks for reading ... and videoing your literary journey. :)
