Brand New Day Event 2008 from Touch of Love

Our purpose is to offer those who are socially and economically disadvantaged a new opportunity to reintegrate themselves in every day life. They must be viewed as citizens of a country and planet in which the personal limits for success depend solely on our capacity of desire and persistence.

Touch of Love was founded in 2004 as a non profit organization, but the homeless rescuing has been underway for a few years. In July, 2003 this began in a more organized way with a group of volunteers supplying all of the needs for the activity and on November 30, 2003 the first event was accomplished. On this date, fourteen homeless people were bathed, shaved, dressed, fed, groomed, given a check up and entertained. Ever since that day, we decided to legally register the name of what was then a complete successful project Touch of Love.

In the last four years and on November 29th and 30th, 2008 we did repeat this same activity; called Brand New Day and was performed at Camp Greynolds, 18601 NE 22 Ave. North Miami Beach, Fl. 33160 This time we took care of approximately thirty five homeless men and women each day.
