Kauai fire fighters save turtle washed out of ocean by Japan Tsunami

We found this turtle in the ditch off Kukuiula harbor in Poipu, Kauai. The turtle must have been washed up from the ocean surge from the Japan Tsunami because it was across the street far away from the bay. The turtle was combative at first but it seemed to sense that we were trying to help it because it seemed to chill out after we put it on the tarp and carried it to the beach.
