Why I Voted for Cynthia McKinney for President

I am voting for Cynthia McKinney, even though I know she is unknown to most voters and she has no chance of winning. However, she deserves my vote because I do know who she is and I do know how she voted against the illegal invasion of Iraq when she was a United States Congresswoman. I know how she did not give into narrow special interests and how she challenged them. I know how she was seeking accountability to the tax payers of this country going up against Don Rumsfeld when the Pentagon lost over one trillion dollars, unaccounted for. I know how narrow special interests worked hard to have her thrown out of Washington. She is not a part of the ivy league corporate power broker elite. She is a roll up her sleeves straight shooter in the league of Ron Paul, Jesse Ventura, Ross Perot and patriots like Dennis Kucinich. She was not my first choice for President, because I was a Ron Paul supporter, but she is my last choice, because she is the only one left in the race with a current and real solid record that is not based on hype, bull, smoke or mirrors. I consider her a true patriot and a friend of the people.

Watch my other endorsement videos and I state I do not agree with Cynthia McKinney on every little issue. Her voice rings closer to my heart than any of the other remaining candidates.

And, to my knowledge Ron Paul endorsed Murry Sabin, not the other guy you mention. However, Ron Paul suggested we vote for ANY of the third party candidates, not for one in particular. I fully support Ron Paul, but I do not take marching orders from Dr. Paul. I have done my own homework.

Well, I'm glad you are voting 3rd Party... however, I don't think taking money from one group of people based on race and giving it to another group based on race is a "little issue." Don't you think such a stance will bleed over into other issues?

No, I don't think it will bleed over into the other issues. She is a real fighter. Watch the McKinney/Rumsfeld video for an example.

Slave reparations is like the abortion issue. It's way down there on the list of things that could become real. On the creme issues such as War, Occupation, Outrageous Growth of the Military Industrial Complex, etc., we need people like Cynthia McKinney, Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich and others with a solid record and not just hot air.

Ron Paul, Cynthia McKinney, Dennis Kucinich voted against the Iraq war, Patriot Act, FISA Act, and were all against the $700 billion dollar bailout as well. Obama, McCain and Bush were for all of the above(just look at Obama and McCain's voting records).

I also voted for Cynthia McKinney and was a Ron Paul supporter(voted for him in the Republican primaries too). I hope we get the best of both worlds in 2012 Paul/McKinney.

this nation and BUILT much of what we have. If you think the whites built homes/buildings & what have you, then you have not researched as you should. If you think the Civil War was the only War blacks fought in, research the Revolutionary War. Slavery funded the trip over here and black slaves existed here in the 1500's. I do not blame people for not knowing these things because we do not teach them ... but I do blame those who refuse to at least look at facts before drawin conclusions

I too voted for Cynthia .. and too support Ron Paul and am I traditional Republican. She has more balls than all the candidates. I do not agree with all her policies, but the core base is strong.

I would say people against reparations should REALLY do their research before thinking they know the answer. Jews got reparations and land (Israel). But blacks who had their history erased and murdered/enslaved for 400 years don't deserve this? We would not have a country. Slavery FUNDED

I didn't vote for Cynthia (went for Nader) but I can respect her a heck of a lot more than Obama because she knows where she stands on issues and doesn't speak in such a vague manner. I don't trust Obama at all. All I had to do was look at Obama's advisors to know this will not be a good 4-8 years.

Crazy. And the very next day you changed you mind? Actually you have to understand Obama. He's a very complex man, unlike many others we know of. He voted to fund the war because he thinks 1- troops were underfunded to provide any mission and 2- our exit strategy should be careful and gradual. He always uses the phrase "we should be as careful getting out as we were careful getting in." Once again, a complex man, more than meets the eye. There's a lot more to his thinking behind his decisions.
