If you liked this, you might enjoy Inmigrantes Big Band, led by Uruguayan director Daniel Camelo. His original music blends jazz composition and arranging techniques with South American musical influences such as Candombe, Murga, Chacarera, Zamba, and Milonga.
There's some clips here on Youtube, but audio on most of them isn't that great. But you can get his album "Puertos" on Itunes or Amazon...it's really cool music, NEW sounds. Check it out!
