  • If you liked this, you might enjoy Inmigrantes Big Band, led by Uruguayan director Daniel Camelo. His original music blends jazz composition and arranging techniques with South American musical influences such as Candombe, Murga, Chacarera, Zamba, and Milonga.

There's some clips here on Youtube, but audio on most of them isn't that great. But you can get his album "Puertos" on Itunes or Amazon...it's really cool music, NEW sounds. Check it out!

  • as a trumpeter I'm really delighted with this noisy, imperfect, buzzy and GROOVY sound of the brasses!!!! wow

  • God, Anthony Jackson. I love you, you big, black, bass god.

  • ok so during the trumpet trade off..... This is what im thinking. "Any you can play I can play higher. I can play anything higher than you." LOL I love it! Mossman and Faddis kicking ass
