Cody Green throws passes friday at Nebraska's second spring practice. Cody Green is part of the 2009 recruiting class but is already on campus ready campus.
Yea i heard in one of the Husker Illustrated mag, that if Crawford played football then Lord would of been a safety, and would probably still be playing safty
wow he actually had amazing throws... one hashmark to the opposite sideline is impressive. I imagine his throw and knowledge of Watson's playbook will improve soon enough and he will be having some impressive runs cuz nebraska's recivers WILL be blocking downfield and he is an excellent player.
Don't foget about Carl Crawford. If that guy hadn't played baseball we would have kept the great option attack going after Crouch. Without him we had to gowith Lord who was not a great QB
great arm a scout says he needs to work on his realse haha that probly is the best relese on the team. great arm cody will to good here it will be a intersting next 4 years
I read on scouts that it was coach Watson that made Cody chose NU. Also Texas A&M was a choice bet Cody thought he also fit the NU scheme much better. I had the pleasure of watching this kid play for the last 3 years (jr season sortened because of injury). He needs to ad a little bulk, he is a little top heavy and gets tripped up fairly easy And, when it comes to character and work ethic, the kid is second to none. He is an all around good person!
Does anyone out there know who was most instrumental in the recruiting of Cody Green? I agree with the Huss, looks like they found a great player, although if you can recall, another touted recruit who did make it to NU but was thrown too early into a system that did not match his skills was Joe Dailey (still think he would have been a great option QB had solich not been axed)
Physically imposing compared to the other QBs throwing, Spano (7) and Lee (3) looked small in comparison. Lot of pop on that throw. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get PT by the end of the season. He's the best QB recruit we've had at NU since Beck flaked out, and before that since Crouch/Newcombe. He's a better physical specimen than all of them.
you were wrong srry
