He doesn't play that character now. Or he didn't when I was there this past week. He still plays a slave, and still quite wonderful to watch.

I love this guy. He portrays Gowan Pamphlet, an enslaved tavern worker who became a free man and a baptist preacher. He was a very controversial person because of what he taught about the equality of souls. He's in my video too. I'm attaching it as a video response.
