So in Death

You dance on karmic wheels
all those presumptuous days
seeking out boundaries
set by someone else

You let others
define your stillborn dreams
while the slaughterhouse awaits
your reluctant blood

Swift lips persuade
you from the chance to
set it right

So, you forget

Ghosts seek out their own reflections

After all, you only have forever
To find the light
