January 11, 2008 742pm. Los Angeles MTA, Bus 6369, Line 210, Northbound. Public transit bus driver, Operator 29708, stops bus for a long time, goes berserk and yells at passenger, and will not stop. The passenger had initially asked the driver when boarding, if he was late, or the other bus was late. He said he had been waiting 45 minutes. The driver responded, "That's none of your business," and "you should be glad you're on the bus." He also said, "It comes when it comes." The passneger got upset at that response and had some words, and then the driver went berserk, opened the doors, got into the stairwell, even almost stepped off the bus, I pulled out my phone and started to record video about 2 minutes later. He also said, "The buses, they really late, now." The driver kept going on and on, as the passengers are talking amongst themselves, even after the passenger asked the driver, "Are you done?" The bus driver's inexcusable response initated this incident. This video shows the driver's unprofessional character and attitude, much like many of them, and their "it comes when it comes" attitude. Wow. Wish I pulled out the phone sooner and got that part on video. Go Metro. America's Best.

  • Sorry, you're mistaken. People videotape stuff that happens in PUBLIC all the time. You have no reasonable expectation of privacy when you're out in PUBLIC. Only if you're in your own home. Done deal. Enjoy the video. :)

  • if i was the bus driver i would call the police on the passenger and have that passenger arrested for video taping on a transit vehicle!!!

  • And they would laugh at you since recording video in public is not illegal. Haha.

  • As an MTA bus driver I get those comments from passangers all the time about they've been waiting 45 mins for the bus and why I'm I so late. I usually just ignore them and let it be because they think we're late on purpose.

They don't consider traffic, they don't consider the weather, they don't consider accidents on the route, they don't consider busses breaking down; No they just want the bus to be there when they're at the bus stop.

So long as I get there safely I'm fine

  • im sure the question to the bus driver about being late was in a provocative manner. if the bus driver arrives late he is already stressed and doesnt need some little kid aggrivating him more. whoever was behind the camera risked the lives of everyone else on board. stress while driving is an issue for EVERYONE

  • You all are lucky. If it would have been my coach you would have been kicked off about a minute into the video. It gets to a point where you are instigating it. So you are just as at fault.

  • @bigike8963 Video taping a transit vehicle? What a stupid fuck you are. You've said it, "transit vehicle." It is understood that it is public and it's also on the street, which means any body can tape it. Also, your fucking grammar adds to your fucking ignorant reasoning. That's like saying, don't video tape police cars, fire trucks, ambulances or police helicopters. Get fucking real, public transit in public, free for any body to film.

  • Good for the bus driver!!!!!! We get enough shit dealing with traffic, diversions etc etc without asshole passengers giving us grief. If anyone asked me "why you late" my simple response would've been "I got lost"

  • stop bothering the driver so he can drive......

  • the 210...'nuff said.

  • @dertnberny yes you should have an idea of where you're going but that still doesn't give the driver the right to go off on a passenger just cause he asked a question...bottomline the driver is an asshole he just needs to quit I just seen him a week ago rushing a older woman with a walker...thats ridiculous

  • @phantomgrrl20 He is right. An adult should know where they are going, before they leave their house. His job is to drive his bus from A to B without crashing they bus. If it is on time, it is a bonus. It is not to wipe your ass because you lack the mental fortetude to know where the hell you are going. I would have kicked off whoever made the "Jackass" remark, and whoever made the "Ghetto" remark. He is a very nice bus driver. My day is not complete until I kick someone off of my bus.

  • @HenryChinaski405 You of all people shouldnt be calling others "stupid". Not after the idiotic things you claim in your post

  • @willdav713 This idiot is like the Kevin Bacon of whiners. He is in everything.

  • @venusfan You know what I say? The Bus behind me is on time, why dont you catch that one.
