Why does this use a label and not the ASP.NET validation controls?

hehehe, i do laugh of all of these cocksuckers "where's da code" "i need da code :|" "pls give me code!! x_x" and that n00b in the video, using controls and drag an drop... real hardcore programmers make html, css, js, c#, database design, relationships, stored procedures, by hand, and the result is better in look, maintain, scalability and performance.
