Obviously the homeowner does not live in a subdivision. Because if he/she/they did, the Home Owner Association nazis would be out in full force and make them remove it because it may have "offended" someone or was not enviromentaly sensative.

This is great! I visited Austin a few Christmases ago and just happened to find the 37th St lights. When I got home to Portland, also a "weird" city, I went to the famous Peacock Lane, expecting something similar, but it was totally lame! The ones in Austin are artistic, imaginative, fun, origiinal, and incomparable. It was so great to find some YouTube vids to help me remember!

HI,Im from Austin.Man I love going through this street At Christmas.Its so tacky And thats why I love It.Everyone does there own thing And putts there own taste Into It.This Is keep Austin weird Isnt It.Ive seen many changes here In 50 years.I love It.Everyone does there own thing.And goes way out At christmas.Happy Holidays.
