Android 2.1: New Unlock Screen

I just discovered this new unlock screen while browsing the settings on my Eris. It is similar to the jailbroken iPod's unlock screen. I find it really cool so please don't judge. Please leave any comments or suggestions below... Thanks!

@Sweetheart7179 I am sure it will work but I am not sure how to get it to work. But there is a way, you just have to find it. I assume it would be it in the security settings somewhere.

@XmanKid1212 What phone do you have? Chances are it already has Eclair(2.1) or Froyo (2.2) already installed.

@XmanKid1212 Ok, what ever you do don't get the droid eris. It was one of the first maintstream android phones released. It's hardware is outdated and they are notorious for breaking repeatedly. I went through six eris's in under 8 months. if you have a choice try to wait a few months so that the ice cream sandwich phones can come out. (ice cream sandwich is the newest version of android.

@lukekcham I felt like an idiot the day after I posted this and I realized everyone knew about it but I kept it on and I got 2.5k views. Go figure. Anyway for future reference a lot of people don't know about these kind of things. Comments like yours might make them feel bad. My friend didn't know that android was the OS not the phone. So Please follow the golden rule "If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all" Those of use who went to kindergarten know it. =)
