  • stand up more at address for a steeper plane ... if your posture is leaning to far over your ball you will take a more shallow backswing ... if you stand up more straight you'll be able to have a steeper plane. Seems strange but try this... when bent forward over your ball the distance from your hands to the ground is shortened so you have to use a flat swing instinctively or you'll hit the ground way behind the ball.

  • Looks just like my swing, I try and try to become more vertical and I can never do it. It drives me nuts, especially on long irons and fairway woods. Did you ever manage to fix this? What way did you choose?

  • flatten your irons to 5 degrees flat and you'll be hitting the ball pure. don't change your swing, your a little OT, but nothing a good pivot can't take care of.

  • lols the back swing

  • Now, stop at each of these two positions and check that the club is in the correct place, pausing each time. After the 3/4 pause, go ahead and swing full through the ball.

  • Practice swinging through the ball without a normal backswing, this will help get the club into the correct position. Hitting with no backswing is hard at first. Also, make sure your grip is correct, try it at the golf shop on the Medicus. Your right arm is too far left on the club (weak) the right arm should be passive for you.

Practice this step, there is no need to take it all the way back, it will end up there naturally.

  • This worked for me:

Take the club back to waist high 1/4 backswing and check your alignment, shaft should be pointed down targe line, toe should be straight up or slightly closed. #2 take the club to 3/4 backswing, now the shaft should be pointed at the ball.

  • The problem with having such a flat swing plane is the tendency to come over the top on the way down. Most people who take it back that flat hardly ever swing inside-out, but mostly outside- in.

To get your hands higher, you will have to practice your takeaway. Stick a barrel or trash can along the line of your feet and practice going to the top. This will force your hands to get higher. It will feel awkward to you as it should, because it's a different feeling than you are used to.

  • Pretty flat like mine golf swing ..but looks like you hit the ball pretty solid..Who gives a f...
