ARGGGGH! This thing got me again for the second time in two months, first time I was baffled i just used system restore and a full registry clean after and it seemed ok, but i got a different variant about 2 days ago (flag in the top left). I wiped it out this way, with no data loss, hurrah!! nice one m8...I hope the writer of this get's a iron mace shoved up his arse, it's quite inconvenient :-/

Lucky enough I had steam running do I could click turnoff pc and then click cancel so I had full control of the pc again I ran my McAfee Security software, And Them The Trojan killer And It Worked :)

I freaked out when I got this. I have never been locked out of my desktop before. After I calmed down a bit I borrowed my friend's laptop to google the problem. Thankfully google auto-complete helped me find what I was looking for.

@djonutube yeah I've got rid of it it's a pain I just waited for my antivirus to find the viruses then I just removed them it really is quite simple once you know how.

just got this damn thing on my laptop, says ive been joint with terrorist groups, and they found child pronography on my hard drive, so they have locked my computer and i can only unlock it with a £100 fine xD fail, ive had this before, but i took it into the shop and they fixed it, but i wunna have a crack at it myself this time :) also, anyone know why it is different for me? its blue, but on the banner its got "metropolitan police notice" and a scottland yard logo on it too o_0

You don't need to connect to the internet in safe mode. I just managed to remove the damn virus (hopefully). I restarted in safe mode and then ran a malewarebyte scan which picked up that fucking virus and removed it. Thank god.
